Put Plasticity on your phone

Plasticity runs as an installed app on both Android and iPhone — its own icon, full screen, no browser bar. Your ledger updates with each web release; Android APK updates are installed separately.

iPhone & iPad

Add to Home Screen

  1. Open this page in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen
  4. Tap Add

There is no app file to download on iOS — Apple does not allow installing apps from outside the App Store. This is the supported route, and it gives you the same full-screen app.

Android

Install from Chrome

  1. Open this page in Chrome
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu
  3. Choose Install app or Add to Home screen

Recommended. Chrome builds a real signed app for you — no security warnings, and it stays up to date on its own.

Replacing an older APK? Uninstall it first, then install this version and sign in again. Your cloud ledger stays in your account. Allow installation from this browser when Android asks, then enable reminders on this device in Settings.

Good to know

Replacing an older Android APK
This release uses a new signing key. If you installed an earlier APK, uninstall it before installing v0.0.8, then sign in with the same invited email. Your topics and review history stay in your cloud account. Enable reminders on this device again in Settings.
You still need an invite
Installing does not create an account. Plasticity is limited to ten invited learners — sign in with the email that received your invitation.
It needs a connection
Your schedule lives on the server so every device agrees on what is due. Offline you will get a clear message rather than a broken page.
Set up a passkey
After signing in, add a passkey from Settings. It makes future sign-ins a single fingerprint or Face ID tap — worth doing on a phone.
